Academy Award®-winner Andrea Arnold (American Honey, Fish Tank) returns to fiction filmmaking with Bird, a tender and striking coming-of-age fable set on the fringes of contemporary society. In Gravesend, north Kent, 12-year-old Bailey (newcomer Nykiya Adams) navigates a fractured home life with her devoted but chaotic father Bug (Barry Keoghan, Saltburn) and rebellious brother Hunter. Bailey’s world takes an unexpected turn when she meets Bird (Franz Rogowski, Passages), a mysterious wanderer on his own journey.
