After Hours

Writer/director Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous, Jerry Maguire) collects a stellar ensemble cast in this sweet, funny tale of twentysomethings searching for/running from/finding love in early 1990s Seattle.

Steve (Campbell Scott) and Linda (Kyra Sedgwick) juggle career with new love, Cliff (Matt Dillon) keeps Janet (Bridget Fonda) at bay while chasing rock dreams, Debbie (Sheila Kelley) struggles with desperation and self-awareness, and Bailey (Jim True) tries to find his own Paris in the Pacific Northwest. Bill Pullman, Tom Skerritt, Eric Stoltz and Jeremy Piven hilariously round out this critically hailed answer to the question, what do you do when it’s time to grow up?

A note from our Executive and Programming Director Brenda Moe.

February After Hours brings you four films that defined love, friendship, heartbreak, and rebellion. Mixtapes, boomboxes, pirate radio—and first loves that hit like a soundtrack you never forget.
Before playlists were algorithms. Before dating was swipes. Coming of age was loud, messy, and gloriously offline.

Fall in love. Break the rules. Feel everything. Again.
