In the near future, a towering alien “spike” appears in Earth’s atmosphere, unleashing chaos and reshaping life as we know it. Years later, the spike still looms, and amid the strangeness, a struggling beekeeper and an emotionally raw EMT are unexpectedly forced to team up when their belongings — her bees and his car — are mysteriously teleported across the country by the spike’s influence. Their journey to retrieve them becomes a surreal road trip through a changed world.

We’re All Gonna Die premiered in competition at SXSW 2024 and marks the first feature film from Freddie Wong and Matthew Arnold, the co-founders of RocketJump and co-creators of the cult series Video Game High School and the hit podcast Dungeons and Daddies.
